@neauoire
At what point (commit hash?) did it get to where new commits are written in it?

@neauoire
e.g. after I added scroll wheel support (lists.sr.ht/~rabbits/public-in), I've been able to use left for general purpose editing, rather than another editor.

@zachdecook Oh wow I've slept on the patches, I haven't checked the 100r emails today.

I'll merge the scroll one :) It's a good add!

@akkartik @zachdecook I'm not very familiar with that stuff tho, if I try to merge them with the command that the site displays, I get:

curl -s lists.sr.ht/~rabbits/public-in | git am -3
fatal: previous rebase directory .git/rebase-apply still exists but mbox given.

@neauoire @zachdecook Yeah, I've tried to get into git email operations, but don't have a good feel for them yet.

I think we'll all get better at this stuff as we do more with SourceHut.

@akkartik
Though `git remote add akkartik git.sr.ht/~akkartik/left; git remote add zach git.sr.ht/~earboxer/left` is still decentralized, has fewer context switches, cuts out email *and* code review. The only issue is scaling for many contributors :P

@neauoire
Something wrong with your current git state?
(Maybe try `git rebase --abort` first or `git stash`? Otherwise, the file in the .git directory maybe could just be removed).
@akkartik

@akkartik @zachdecook ah yes that worked, turns out I had a conflict to deal with :)

@neauoire
Yeah, it feels better than any terminal based text editor. Big props to SDL. Though, since I'm using a trackpad, not sure if it will be as good using a mouse scrollwheel.
