day 402 of being thankful I never "upgraded" from macOS Mojave. its days are numbered though, I'll have to move to Linux sooner or later.

@slisne Fellow mojave refugee. I'm refusing to upgrade because it would break my favourite software: quartz composer. There's similar systems but none quite as good. Hoping apple gives it back to the developer they acquired it from.

@zens
I've kept my work laptop on Mojave because I still need a 32 bit application: Lilypond. But I think I'll switch to linux in for the long term, as my organization may use a remote machine for building apps (and XCode hasn't been very coorperative anyways).

@zachdecook @slisne I'm holding on to mojave for quartz composer and art/design apps. I've been persistently unimpressed with the creative software ecosystem of linux. But I'm so burned out from even trying to get linux to work, that I haven't really checked in 10 years. every time i've been cowed into giving it a fair shake I've been disappointed with another weekend spent attempting to fix stupid driver issues.
