The so-called progressive or liberal view has a factual bias, not the other way around.

I am utterly certain this was a purely accidental oversight, but while this article extensively discusses elitism vs. commonality, and hints, slightly, at populist rhetoric, I cannot help but notice there is coverage and quotes - and very friendly ones - from only a single political party: the Progressive Conservatives.

That appears, on the face of it, to be an inaccurate view of Canadian Politics.

Perhaps the worst thing about the article is it being carried in the news section, though clearly an opinion column. I suppose a periodical which would do that can expect the epithet 'fake news', for that certainly is what the article deserves.

As with anything online - if you feel angry and emotional after reading something, you need to stop and remember *that was the intent.* To manipulate you, not to inform.
