Something you'll see on social media is young people post "look what I made" and some layperson or novice will rip into them about how easy and basic it was, then an industry professional will say it's better than most of their coworkers and they'd get hired on the spot as at least an intern.
Commenters online are miserable bores.
Thinking about making another fediverse replicator like bird.makeup but for Instagram. It could be nice especially with @pixelfed clients that support stories.
Scrapping Instagram is waaaaay harder than Twitter though.

Happy to report that as we are about to hit 3.1k users on bird.makeup, the latest round of optimizations I did brought down the time it takes to iterate through all twitter users from ~1.5 hours to ~35 minutes.
