So @icecubesapp@mastodon.cloud supports QT at the client level. If I tweak bird.makeup to add a native link instead of twitter I get QT support for basically free, but only in that client for now.

Yeah I’ll be even more extreme and say if you’re subscribing to Ivory and /not/ paying your instance admins at least as much, you need to fix that right fucking now.
@mikemacleod @ivory there are improvements to QT in the pipeline to make them more native indeed! I need better caching in some areas before I can enable that. Will help replies work better too

Hello! I am now on mastodon!
After the scale increase from this weekend on bird.makeup, we are now pulling 400GB of tweets PER DAY. Unreal
@gpollara 1: Yes for threads right now, planning on enabling general replies soon. Some more optimizations to do before I can. 2: Currently 12 minutes. It's shown at the bottom of the homepage
Right now QT on bird.makeup show up as a link to the thread on twitter.com. Should I make a native UI on bird.makeup to show the thread?
