I just pushed an update with regards to videos. They should work now, but do ping me if you see anything weird.
Threads is probably the next thing I want to make work great. I don't have unit tests for that part yet and I've probably broken them.
Quotes tweets are more complicated... They don't have a native equivalent and I'm not sure yet of the design I'll do. I can make them act like thread in the most simple cases
But anyway thanks for the feedback!
Just pushed an update to https://bird.makeup/ : now videos should be playable, and not just a screenshot of it. So @dog_rates should work great now!
Just created @pytorch here.
Start following it for updates (will setup syndication shortly).
The creator of Lichess is on mastodon now: @thibault , nice!
@bitbraindev They are definitely using all interactions for further training of the AI model. I think that is the main reason they made it free to use for now even if it costs them so much to run. It might suggest your ideas to someone else in the near future
Prediction:
1. Shareholder pressure from Tesla keeps increasing
2. Musk realizes that since he's taken over he's only made Twitter's financial losses worse, so now it's continuously burning a hole in his pocket
3. Musk steps down, blaming woke media, the libs, etc.
4. Twitter is damaged goods. Gets sold for $1 bln to some faceless corporation (like Tumblr was sold to Verizon).
5. Twitter slowly becomes irrelevant
6. 3 years later, some fans buy it for $1 million and try to open source it
Welcome to the fediverse @Techaltar! I love your videos
Of course @dog_rates is in the top 5 of the most followed accounts on https://bird.makeup . This is the fediverse after all!
I'll work on making videos work flawlessly next, this will help for this account in particular !
Sorry to https://bird.makeup/ users that missed out on some tweets in the last day, just pushed some fixes to make things more efficient
Some people "Things can't go viral on #mastodon
#JohnMastodon: "Hold my beer."
And here's the official announcement:
The entire @macstories team and media properties are now on Mastodon. We did it on our own server, which we fully control, and which anyone can follow thanks to federation.
I'm excited to own our social media presence. Long live the open web. Let's go 🚀

“It is the more personal pain of seeing a 5% GPU utilization number in production. I am offended by it.” 🔥
