But nothing I can do on my end. You should move to another instance that allows it. You can also start your own for you and your friends to be 100% safe. I've heard good things about https://masto.host/ if you want to go that route
bird.makeup now uses 2 servers for web requests. This should bring down the error rate when loading profiles and tweets
