I just deleted my twitter account. I actually feel sad about it. It used to be this amazing hive mind where I could learn or laugh at any interaction, but I can't stand seeing it becoming the platform of cyberbullies.

At the same time, I have never been this hopeful about the fediverse. I have been here for years, and it feels all the twitter magic is pouring here all of a sudden.

No on-street parking makes all the difference in the cities of #Japan. The 1962 "proof-of-parking" law means you buy a car, you've got to show you've got a placeβ€”off public streetsβ€”to warehouse it.

Reason No. 2342 Mastodon is awesome: @nova is hosting a mastodon instance with 20k active users from the rack behind her in her tech show (see clips.twitch.tv/PerfectCovertG ). Simply seeing that knowledge of how things work being shared brings me joy!
