So what if... the richest people in society get to decide what the history of society is, and we pay them to do it? Sound good? Who's in? Anyone...?
Getting started on Mastodon after a long time lurking on Bitcoin Twitter under assorted nyms.
Given Twitter's penchant for censorship, I don't believe Bitcoiners can continue to use the service in good conscience.
The Bitcoin community is leading the way on sound money. As it captures supporters from all walks of life, it will soon lead the way on "sound" social networks.
Not reading my ol' Twitter feed as often as days go by, and I'm noticing the increasing exodus of the Bitcoin community from Twitter to elsewhere is palpable. A few BTC influencers remain on Twitter but I imagine in time they'll have to make the break. Twitter is doubling down on censorship as promised and are launching something called "Birdwatchers," basically unleashing a legion of mentally unstable and Orwellian-leaning Karens to rat-out any free thinking person. Dumpster fire in the making.
In the eternal struggle between human creativity and bureaucratic oppression, we have a new hero. Totally based. Mad respect.

Ignore This Convicted Banker
It's that point in the cycle where the lizards from the banks feel obliged to step in and lecture the serfs that Bitcoin is bad.

So anyone using AWS is at risk of being deplatformed by an unaccountable group of employees who might not like you for political reasons. They are probably against Bitcoin as well because of “energy usage”. Good luck running a Bitcoin businesses on AWS.
