@purism @jsevans Thanks, I saw that the upgrade feature was added and have just upgraded. It can be found on librem.one -> Account -> manage upgrades :)

@purism @jsevans Thanks, I am keen to stop using gmail.
Can we use our own domain with a librem mail or is this a planned feature?

@null @lunduke Thats what babies want us to think, one day they will rise up against us.

@jsevans @purism It looks like they have not added a way to upgrade free accounts yet. I could not figure it out either.

@gbryant I have tried many desktop environments.
I like that most things work out of the box with GNOME. Examples: Wacom tablets lock to a single monitor. Fullscreen games always open on primary monitor consistently. Screen rotation and touchscreen works perfectly out of the box on laptops with accelerometer. If I plug a monitor and keyboard into a laptop with lid closed and it will use the monitor. These are just a few things that "just work" that I have had trouble with using other desktops.

@USARedDragon @lunduke The problem is that doing something like this can open up a can worms and sometimes there is no coming back from that.

So I deleted my facebook about 5 or 6 years ago for many reasons.

To be honest I have not missed social media but in support of freedom I have created a mastodon account here on social.librem.one

How can we get people to leave the centralized networks for more freedom respecting ones? Surely freedom is something worth fighting for?

Need to convince people with lots of followers on centralised platforms to make the switch, their followers will hopefully come with.
