Asking a foreign ruler to announce an investigation into your political opponent by name while with holding aid and never saying the word corruption is abuse of power.
Locking asylum seekers and children up in over crowded unsanitary conditions or knowingly returning them across a boarder into danger (MPP) is a human rights violation.

Today, I introduced the Neighbors Not Enemies Act to fully repeal a 1798 law that allows the U.S. president to target groups of foreign nationals.
Trump even cited the law to justify the Muslim Ban.
It’s past time to take this xenophobic law off the books.
I wish windows would implement multiple clipboard buffers like #Plasma has. I have to enter the same three pieces of information into 70 web forms that don't give me programmatic access, it would really be handy right about now...

@immychan The only reason I was aware of for not using brave was that it was chromium based. I'd watch and, if I had an account, probably like. The cure for hate speech is more free speech. I have never understood the anti-cancel culture stance: using free speech to call out bigots and voting with our wallets are what freedom loving free market capitalists say we should do. But when we actually do it they claim to be victims.
@Ste1lar@niu.moe interesting thought. Hospitals would be able to do there own service and repair of devices. But would they still opt for manufacturer service agreements? The FDA requires a device history record that contains who did what and when as well as component level batch lot information.
@viv@toot.site I'm not sure I follow. Blocking is a hindrance? Don't all platforms allow blocking? Or that entire instances can be blocked by refusing to connect servers is a hindrance?

@ChrisWere@linuxrocks.online i wonder if that attitude is limiting potential income for the devs. As companies made a space in the fediverse I imagine that they may pay for features to be implemented. Those could be features that we'd all benefit from.
