Lojban is a conlang, successor to loglan, and is supposed to be unambiguous. It has lots of mathematical operators built in. The also have a matrix room.

I've seen a couple things now about "real friends." My $0.02, cyberspace friends are just as legitimate as meatspace friends.

I used to feel awkward/bad when someone would bring something up last moment and I already had plans to game with online friends. But that wasn't on me, they decided to wait until last minute and I already had plans, heck in some cases even prepared ahead of time.

Unless flight in your definition was meant as the act of fleeing. But then I haven't heard of people eating tropical birds or raptors that they've raised.

I would say that to a certain extent you weren't wrong. Lentilburger is not a hamburger and isn't going to taste like one, but can be good and enjoyable in it's own right. A lot of the foods like that are supposed to match a texture, not a flavor.

Zucchini noodles are another one. They have an al dente feel, but aren't gonna taste like pasta.

Been listening to The Leviathan Chronicles today. I'm on episode 9. I think it's well produced. The voice acting seems good. For whatever reason I'm not getting invested in the story. That's not to say I don't think there's an audience for it, but it's not me.

I see this at work frequently. It's due to under representation of stakeholders during the planning phase. Someone says "this would be great, make it so" without asking why things are the way they are and what it would take to make it so.
