@Jessica @judgedread @oneway @terryenglish ya i have barely used mastodon, first encounter with this protocol and stuff was gnusocial like years back, then i heard about mastodon, got annoyed that people werent mentioning gnusocial, was never involved in these sorta systems, then i was shilling some shit so i made a pleroma account, then a gab account then a twitter account, never had a twitter until last year

@terryenglish @oneway @judgedread Yeah pleroma has a much more chillaxed interface and it's much easily more customized. Unlike mastodon where the only way is to use a browser plugin like stylus, but on here all i have to do is import the theme file on any instance, and i can export on any instance

@oneway @terryenglish @judgedread I know because gab is actually pretty dead. I wouldn't get nearly as much followers on there. It was a struggle to get 10 followers on there, but i joined this instance and got like 50 in a single day.

Gab's blocking is just like what SJW's do, they're essentially being hypocrites

@Jessica @oneway @terryenglish Can confirm. Mastodon's post then comment model is closer to old Gab than Pleroma's self contained post model - at least that's what it looks like in my limited browsing of Mastodon instances. I'm on Pleroma here.

@Jessica @oneway @terryenglish Torba is a boring normal not very smart guy. This can't be repeated often enough. He not only had no idea what free speech online implied, he never spent that much time online, being a scheming grifter at heart. He would be much better off fully federating and taking advantage of the trolling opportunities triggering unsuspecting users of new instances. Endless controversy, but without any collateral damage.
