@terryenglish While Internet may be used in such clubs, it is open for members, and public is welcome to become member per day, week or month, or year. They could use computer for unlimited time. What is difference is social activity, it is not a service rather a club. So active assistance is offered to people and incentives to learn programming.

@terryenglish The new line of #GNU Free Software Club will be opened physically, it will have its rooms, desks, computers, USB flash disks, and a lot of printed documentation for people to learn and switch their Windoze to GNU/Linux.
@terryenglish My intention is to open GNU Free Software Club and help people as I was doing similar activity back in past. Then other people may follow by my example. Projects when written can be replicated as successful actions. In general I have helped many friends and family to switch to GNU/Linux and I have explained why it is so, and pointed out freedom and privacy issues. #GNU

Richard Dawkins stripped of โ€˜humanist of the yearโ€™ award after inviting discussion on transgender issues in tweet

I know there are a lot of good intentioned people including Dawkins himself on this issue. Many who want to protect the rights earned rightfully by trans people. Allowing zero discussion on these matters however, is not the way to go.

Destiny is debating Richard Wolff. This is the most worried I've seen Destiny during a debate.

Not winning as much as the right decision being made imo. I'm also not sold on a need for police reform as much as an end to the drug war and poverty reduction. I think the shitty interactions with cops are more about how the experience of being a cop in certain neighborhoods warps their brains, and the prospect of doing that job doesn't attract the best candidates etc.

It's weird seeing people on the right claiming the jury made the wrong decision to keep peace, while people on the left claim the verdict was the result of their pressure. So they kinda agree, with neither believing that blind justice was done. #DerekChauvinTrial #LiberalValues
