This meme clearly represents the duality in men. On one hand they are inherent violent beings, which is represented by the character wielding a baseball bat, ready to strike at any moment at his foes.
On another hand, it shows the suppressed desire of most people to be lazy slobs, by the use of a cat head for the character, cats being well known for their tendency to sleep entire days without end.
While the author of this piece is anonymous, it is widely believed that he was a basement dwelling man child, that couldn't even clean his room. The messy color palette is one of the clearest examples of the author expressing the filth of his daily life in his art.

Are memes gonna be considered an art form in the future? Will clueless, poorly paid, teachers attempt to teach kids made up, overly complex meanings to some obscure happy merchant meme?

Will memes basically become the equivalent of poetry?
