@theblessing everybody knows that being a fat fuck and eating a lot of sugar gives you type 2 diabetes, but few people realize that starving yourself also can give you type 2 diabetes. By starving, you train your body to get by on very little blood sugar and to release necessary amounts from stores during the day in order to survive. When you finally eat, your blood sugar goes through the roof from all that unexpected energy and your body must produce insulin double-time to clean it all up, plus there's your original blood sugar level released from stores on top of the food-based blood sugar, making your need for insulin way too high. Over time, your body will equate the smallest morsel of food with the need for a huge flood of insulin and can even release insulin based on you simply salivating over a delicious picture or smell. Eventually your insulin-making organs (thyroid and pancreas, I think, I could be wrong) simply give up the ghost after all this abuse and voila! Type 2 diabetes in a skinny person, it happens more than u think.
