On my work laptop I started using Seamonkey as my daily browser and outlook email client. And what a pleasure it is to use. It's extremely responsive and usable.
However, addons is a mission, because Mozilla just breaks shit left and rigt. Seamonkey is a newer FF fork than Pale Moon, but uses xpi addons like Pale Moon.

Sharing is caring. But sharing your data is irresponsible and short sighted. Stop it. #deletefacebook #deletegoogle #deletewhatsapp
I found this awesome app for the webcam I bought recently. I tried using Cheese but it didn't support H264 or MJPEG and it resulted in the resolution being 640 x 360. (I have an unbranded 1080p webcam.) GUVCview and a few others fared no better.
Kdenlive 20.08 is out with many great improvements.
WOW!!!!!
THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR:)
A search engine for #peertube
"PeerTube Index is a centralized search engine for PeerTube videos. We run a crawler that visits PeerTube instances to find videos and new instances. All found videos are made searchable by their name. We exclude videos marked as Not Safe For Work (NSFW) for now.
This site is not affiliated to Framasoft, the maintainer of the PeerTube software. "
@fatboy Reminder to everyone that PaleMoon and Basilisk are both perfectly viable browsers.
I personally use PaleMoon and I absolutely love it.

Introducing appimage-manager a "package manager" for #AppImage

Great alternatives to Google Maps that use #OpenStreetMap data:
- Qwant Maps: website, has directions. Highlights the fact that data is from #OSM, providing links to view and edit the data.
https://www.qwant.com/maps
- F4map: website, 3D views of cities.
https://demo.f4map.com/
- MAPS.ME: mobile apps with a neat vector renderer. Minimalist. Works offline. More obviously profit-oriented.
- OsmAnd: mobile apps with lots of features. Offline too. (Too?) many customisations and options available.

@yarmo I 100% think you should use font families and let the user decide for themselves and not force them to download extra things just to pretty your site up a bit.
TIL: In Firefox dom.event.clipboardevents.enabled can be used to prevent websites from blocking your paste (e.g. for a login form).
Just discovered this, sounds freaking incredible.
https://github.com/ventoy/Ventoy
#Ventoy is an open source tool to create bootable USB drive for ISO files. With ventoy, you don't need to format the disk over and over, you just need to copy the iso file to the USB drive and boot it. You can copy many iso files at a time and ventoy will give you a boot menu to select them. Both Legacy BIOS and UEFI are supported in the same way. 200+ ISO files are tested.
