@blabber gratuliere
@blabber Pommes aus dem Grill!
@blabber aber die Zeit muss man erst mal haben oder sich bewusst rausschneiden.
I really like the way #mobian goes, bringing #debian with #phosh to the #PinePhone.
Still for me it behaves unstable. It seems to have issues with suspend, sometimes not responding and getting really hot. Phosh dies and kills all open apps. Freezes of the phone.
I really hope those problems will be solved in software and my phone has no hardware flaws.
#PinePhone things out is a time machine.... just changed the date to august 2115. Very strange.... Have you experienced this too?
@kawaiipunk @pixelfed
No problem to me. 😁
I am wondering if my #PinePhone from @PINE64 has hardware issues. All systems I have tested were unstable. I know that all software is work in progress but I read a lot of people being happy with their devices, but mine freezes all the time. All systems tested froze. #ubports #mobian #manjaro #sailfishos
Sometimes it runs an hour or so, sometimes just few minutes. That's so frustrating...
Ich bin ja für die Abschaffung des Begriffs #Unwetter. Das klingt negativ. Wir sollten es lieber #Beiwetter nennen, angelehnt an die Begrifflichkeit des #Beikraut statt #Unkraut.
#politicalcorrectness
I'd like to know if I am the only one having regular freezes on the #pinephone
As those problem occur on different systems I don't differ in OS. Mostly I am running #Mobian which is a great approach but also with #ubtouch I have those issues.
#PinePhone is not made for dayight usage outdoor... maximum brightness but very hard to see anything on the display
What I really miss on the #pinephone is a #Spotify client running on #arm64
What issues do I have with the #PinePhone?
- system hangs completely
- starts vibrating continuously
- eats a lot battery and is getting hot on ubports
- cannot play YouTube fluid
- overall really slow device (the soc is old)
- it's a pain to open the backcover
- high frequency pitch sound for short
- flickering display sometimes. Mostly when on powercord
But still I think this device gives us options for the future of FOSS
Just pre-ordered a #PineTab
I hope there will be good software support until it ships.
But as the hardware is low-end I'm not sure if the device could become a serious player.
Want to test #Sailfish soon too. What I really like on this phone is the ability to boot from SD card. Thanks @PINE64
Even if the PinePhone will never become a daily driver it is a really important step for the development of free mobile OS.
Ok to me, #ubports is not what I am searching for. It is like a not working Android... Then I tried #mobian with #phosh and this looks more like a Linux phone to me... But it also has many bugs and regressions.
Hope there will be a good system for my #pinephone soon.
Grrr... I can not disable Bluetooth in #ubports
It automatically reactivates every time....
#PinePhone
What I have discovered.
The backcover is really hard to remove.
The device gets really hot in the area of the LET-modem.
I had to force-kill the device some times because it stuck
