@purism would be nice if there was a convenient self hosting mail server / cloud server solution that doesnt cost any registration fees, ow you are on the hook to buy a domain or reserve an IP.
@purism THIS is an 'ecosystem' ☝️ ! Different companies working togeter to offer better products. When the same company offers hardware, cloud services, browsers, search engines and more it's not an ecosystem, it's 'monoculture'. It's like when Monsanto offers both the seeds and the pesticides.
