@boilingsteam I hope not, x86 is at least somewhat open, while Arm is really locked down. Imagine having to flash computers like phones, possibly bricking them in the process, just to install a new/different OS.
@boilingsteam i played through Horizon Zero Dawn using Proton, pretty nice experience except 1mission that is super crashy for some reason.

@strider@mast.linuxgamecast.com just wanted to say I read all of this and it is great to see a different perspective. For me wayland doesn't work simply because the DEs I use don't support it. But now I see why those traditional DEs might not work on a port just yet.
Can't help, but wonder if Mir would've been better. (Not the current version of Mir, but the original idea.)
