Trump's social network (Truth Social) is now open source due to pressure from the maintainers of Mastodon.
I have now mirrored the code on Codeberg and GitHub to keep track of changes, ease public examination, and ensure a copy stays public.

Today I officially launched my second business. Well registered, not much there yet. But the goal is to help small business owners to make use of free software as good as possible and get them away from solutions that lock them in. The homepage and everything else will be up within the next couple of weeks in time for the official launch, but I figured I give the fediverse an early notice….

@sammorrowdrums @cassidyjames On iPhone if you "Add to Home Screen", I find pixelfed functions just like a native app would. I honestly cannot tell it is any different from other native apps on the phone.
@obsolete29 Yes, I dual boot elementary (based on Ubuntu) on a 2015 MBP. Works fantastically. Linux compatibility does vary a bit by model. But I wrote a blog post installation guide for what I did on the 2015 model https://blog.senderolinux.com/installing-eos-6-on-2015-macbook-pro-121/

@calebccff @normandc @postmarketOS maybe it’s just my mastodon client, but the hyperlink doesn’t include the last parenthesis and thus looks broken. Anyone using the link make sure it include that last parenthesis
@okpierre I know some won't agree, but I think the Fedi needs more monetization. I'm not talking VC funding or anything, but just creative ways for projects to monetize so that they can be sustained. So that developers and maintainers can develop expertise in the technology, and do this as more than a hobby. I mean nothing wrong with people contributing as a hobby. But being able to dedicate more time would allow more great things to be created in the Fediverse.
