Without algorithms it takes boosting to make the Mastodon machine move - so boost often, boost freely and boost abundantly.
Nobody is trying to sell you anything.
Nobody puts their ugly mug at the top of your feed.
Nobody buries your post and (sorry) nobody promotes it.
Posts may settle more quickly here as they fall thru timelines without artificial support.
Mastodon’s rhythm therefore has a different feel which may feel unusual to birders.

I really am curious why Plasma is not more popular as the default DE for at least a few distros! It's such a clean desktop and obviously is popular to use. I would like to see a Red Hat spin with it.

Cars should not be wirelessly connected to the internet. I get that starting your car with an app can be cool and OTA updates are a thing, but not everything should be connected to the internet. Imagine getting hacked while driving and losing control. It sounds weird now, but it absolutely is possible and will become more possible.
