I'm kinda surprised very few people do this, it's really cool and in a lot of cases not that hard — most of my laptops have custom boot logos, and some phones too.
I have to admit though that with my Android phone positioning was kinda tricky because I wanted the firmware logo to match the boot animation and be in exact same place as it is in the wallpaper in running OS — took me the whole evening to make it perfect 😅

I always think of it as intelligence in this sense not as in "the ability to learn or understand or to deal with new or trying situations" — and laugh about it every time 😅

Здесь важно найти «свою тусовку», сделать это по сравнению с другими сетями может быть непросто — рекомендаций-то нет.
Но потом становится тепло и уютно — в сравнении с этим «алгоритмическая» лента в других сетях начинает казаться синтетикой: поставишь лайки двум котам — и после этого начинают сыпаться одни кошки, при чём от людей, который ты не знаешь, а некоторых может и знать не хочешь😸
Тут же сам выбираешь людей —  по интересам, либо с которыми просто кайфово общаться.

Hah, about the same!

TBH, one of the things that don't come easy to me when interacting online is figuring out person's age — sometimes you meet someone who doesn't seem like a bad person and yet for some reason you don't "vibe" well together — then you figure out they are much younger. Not a bad thing of course and I'm not prejudiced against people much younger or much older than me, but I suppose growing up with different things around you still shows at times.

I guess that's exactly what I'm doing — playing around.
I was always too paranoid to enjoy social media, but I got less so with years and Fedi offers way more in matters of privacy, so this hit the sweet spot for me — I suppose right now I'm doing what everyone was doing in the late 2000s and 2010s, at times only figuring out for myself what people already have — Fedi definitely seems not the worst place to hang about🤷

Ha-ha-ha-ha! The influence — at least on the vocal style is simply undeniable, and on my first listen I was also like: "Oh, hello, Ozzy" 🤣
But then it started growing on me — I think they have things to offer in their own right.

I mean, yeah… I enjoy heavy guitars — who doesn't, right? But I like it with a little bit of psychedelia and "progginess" thrown in. Speaking of Tiamat: Clouds is an amazing album, but Edlund's experimentations took it even further, Wildhoney is top-notch stuff. His later output is so-so though.

I've had a couple of records of theirs, but I was still very much surprised to learn that they are in fact a Russian band — I have to see them live, I think they are amazing!

From that era, some Judas Priest maybe… I do like early Tiamat, I like heavier prog stuff: third incarnation of King Crimson (circa 2000s), Tool and all that, I do like stoner, sludge… Neurosis — again, that would be post- probably.
But I won't call myself a metalhead per se, I like some heavier stuff in my "diet", but I like it diverse — not limiting myself to it.

I'm not such a hardcore snow fan, but I'm even less of a fan of when it's there and in a few hours it's no longer there. The snow has to act more decisively instead of this on-again off-again shit 😅
