@pwm
So they could share this photo with their colleagues on an office e-mail list? 🤭

That's more stalking than love, an unhealthy obsession. But that was a joke anyway — I do not engage in anything like that and I believe no one should.
I don't think that love can hurt the object of your love if it doesn't get out in any way and affect the life of that person — you can always choose it to not cause any harm, unless it's something like the obovementioned unhealthy obsession, in which case you can't choose of course 🤷

Even lol-winrar days could hardly be considered intellectual, but damn… look where we've arrived 😩
@Nicro @kaia
Yep, just as expected: https://www.gsmarena.com/mac_mini_2024_gets_a_teardown_has_no_user_upgradeable_parts-news-65273.php
This can hardly be considered user-serviceable 😩
@MicheleV_AK
I'd take everything Patrushev says with a shovelful of salt — check him out online: he's a firm believer in conspiracy theories and even the occult. Despite what you might think from the positions he had occupied throughout his career, the man is pretty much insane — even by Pooteen's inner circle standards: https://www.politico.eu/article/russia-putin-ditched-security-chief-nikolai-patrushev-conspiracy/
@nyanide
With latest POSIX we can't have newlines in filenames anymore 😩
@admitsWrongIfProven
Unless you do it covertly and only follow them around after dark… carrying a camcorder… Oops 😅
@splitshockvirus @cirno
TIL lsblk even exists 🤪
I do use blkid though, which I suppose comes from the same set of utilities and is absent from busybox 🤔
@Hyolobrika
Who THEY, carnal vampire zombies? 😨
@icedquinn @kaia
Exactly! And this is how I find those that I no longer want — something weird comes up as a suggestion.
Whether the bookmark is old or rarely used — I don't care, if I bookmarked it, I might still want to get back to it some time — and finding it in the bookmarks is still easier than going five months back in history. Also, I might be weird^W among the few who use tags for bookmarks in Firefox — tags work even if you don't organise them in hierarchy, makes navigation easier.
@kaia
rutracker.org — it's not as good as some specialised music torrent sites might be, but still good — mostly because it's Russian and I think they just ignore takedown notes.
And it's open — the built-in search might not work without an account, but you can always search for "site:rutracker.org whatever-you-want" on DuckDuckGo. Also, it doesn't always allow you to download .torrent files without logging it, but Magnet links always remain public and most Bittorrent software supports them.

Just in case: DMs/PMs simply don't exist on this instance as concept — don't use them, use the other instance if you absolutely have to, or send an email to any address at m0xEE.Net or .Com or .Org, but I prefer keep most communication public.
