Coming from someone who grew up with MS-DOS and three letter extensions — .jpg still feels wrong to me, this is the first thing that I have dropped when I got the file system that allowed that: keeping extensions to three letters. I prefer giving JPEG-compressed images a .jpeg extension instead 🤷

I wasn't even sure I should fave that, but every time I attempt to come up with words of support, I feel like some important part of me is missing and I feel stupid instead and any more elaborate attempt to do that would just make me feel more stupid, so I'll react with <generic words of support> and hope that at least that won't make you feel worse 😅

In year 2000 that would've been a room of my dreams, but right now I think I'd go less insane even living in a room with sandpaper on its walls. Colour — colour is everything, I've spent a significant part of my life in a room painted in a shade of green that would match that purple perfectly. There are all sorts of situations and sometimes colour crawls right into your psyche, now I think people should always go for something more conventional.

I'd like to add that animated lossy WebP is just a set of VP8-compressed frames, effectively a video in image's clothing, why do that and not just make it a normal video? It's utter insanity! 🤪
