Man, if Mozilla had spent any real time in the last decade making embedding/using Gecko feasible for anything except Firefox, there'd be so many Gecko-based browsers right now.
My entire journey with developing Gecko stuff and working for Mozilla started because embedding was possible (though difficult).
It's sad to see Mozilla management continue to just not learn anything at all. Misfire after misfire. But they're more important now than ever :(

BTW A friend of mine used to work for a less known company and their office got taken over in a similar manner, and enforcers from Chechnya were also involved. It's kinda a miracle it didn't end in a shoot out. I suppose these things are quite common these days — most just don't make the news.

@EUCommission And now make sure all USB-C Cables support the same features or have to be marked if they only charge without data connection for example.
There are so many shitty USB-C cables out there. I even have some that work differently depending on which side of this reversible connector is up...

Hello! I suddenly find myself needing a job... yesterday!
I'm an experienced software and research engineer with a load of data science skills; I've worked on profiling and tracing MPI/MPICH programs, supercomputer simulations, C++ debugging (including tracing MPI race conditions! fun!), statistical analysis of chemical simulations, web service API/work, some front end, etc. I've written/debugged/worked on projects in C, C++, TypeScript, C#, Python, shell, and dabbled in Rust. I'm able to jump on any project and learn quickly. I love working in supercomputing!
I'm putting together my resume but if you know if anyone looking for someone to hire, here I am! I'm open to contract and temporary positions, too, so long as they're remote. I'm in Portland, OR, in the US.
