I'm really thankful to The Insider for, beside their own investigations, going through all these Telegram channels and other social media for great finds like this one, they have linked this one yesterday. But their primary language is Russian so that's not what you might want, they do translations, but not for everything, for the Russia-Ukraine war, I think they post only weekly summaries in English, such as this one: https://theins.ru/en/news/274278

I still remember it being current — and taking a cab to my friends from my other friends to flash the optical drive in the Xbox, so it could accept non-original copies of games' media, as none of us had a desktop machine with a compatible interface to connect the drive.
I also remember being "evacuated" from there two days later as we've started a Halo 3 session and I stopped answering the phone🤪

Yes, good point! I can't tell for certain which percentage for it is in Rust — haven't built it in quite a while as I stopped updating it 😂
But it always seemed to me that more and more components get re-implemented in Rust with time — this is the general direction it's heading, so having JPEG XL in Rust would be natural even from the perspective of reducing maintenance "costs" — that was my point.
