They are, but whom would it leak the status to in this case? There is your server and the server the other party is on — both are already aware of your presence 😆
The way I understand it, it sends out your status to all participants of group chats even to the sessions that no one verified explicitly or implicitly — if one of the participants is compromised, it could be used to track when you go online.

Weed gave me this a lot back in the student years. By the end of the movie you're like: "Damn, we've already watched this one!"

I've made an attempt to switch to light colour scheme today — more like sepia one, but with pink-ish accents. And by the time I was done with the software I realized that it doesn't really work with black keyboard and mouse, no matter what backlight colour I use.
What a pity I didn't get a Razer pink keyboard and mouse set when they had a discount on that 😩
