In the finale there is meeting of a student union where they claim that white people are evil, at the same time, there is a Klan meeting where they claim that all non-white people are evil — a very dramatic moment…

This movie, BlacKkKlansman — it's pretty bad!
There's Detroit (2017 movie), there is Judas and the Black Messiah and there is this garbage that portrays police as black people's friends and it gets an Academy award for best screenplay? Of, FFS 🤦

@scarlett7447
Does it work well on this Mac Pro?
I have one and I have 10.11 occupying two hard disks in mirrored AppleRAID on it. I'm thinking of getting rid of Mac OS X on it entirely, but maybe I should check that out first.

What's even worse — this type of men won't become good as a result of flash-mob on social media, young women should be aware of that, of how to avoid dangerous situations and how to get out of them if this still happens.
But the message that men in general are more dangerous than bears is wrong and accomplishes nothing good, it just sows seeds of distrust 🤷
But I'm pretty sure it all has been said a hundred times already, right?

@MicheleV_AK
He might just say hi and walk past, but okay, let's even assume that all men are rapists — there's still a non-zero chance for success if you fight back, but if you indeed encounter a bear — you're royally fucked 😱
The premise that encountering a bear is less dangerous is just false — for obvious reasons: bears are physically stronger.
Not all men are nice — that's for sure, even for other men it's wise to avoid some men.

@MicheleV_AK
> The stats on women being killed by bears are extremely low

This is precisely where the facts are twisted: comparing 🍏 to 🍊. One in 6 women in the US gets sexually assaulted in their lifetime, according to the article — and yet, women encounter dozens of men, some of them — daily. How many women ever encountered a bear alone in the forest? I don't have any hard numbers, but I think this number is minuscule.
If you meet a man in the forest he doesn't necessary mean harm…

@otterX

@otterX
A relative or a friend of a family taking advantage of a woman is no joke — and I'm sure it happens way more often than a bears attacking women in the forest.
Yet the message of this whole bear thing is still very confusing — I don't think it's necessary to bend the facts this way to raise awareness 🤷

@MicheleV_AK
Is it common to invite the unknown man who attacked you in the woods to your family reunions? 🤔

@mischievoustomato @gnarley_boot
Being crazy as in not being boring is pretty cool of course, having something like BPD on the other hand isn't as fun as it might be portrayed in fiction 🤷
But I think you have to have firsthand experience with it to realize how fucked up it is 😂

@mischievoustomato @gnarley_boot
Psychotic girls should… psychote! 🤪
Being "obsessed" with you, but entering your house normally and hanging out with you just fine is called being in love with you 😁

@metallcorn @vsv @shuro

@mischievoustomato @gnarley_boot
> she wouldn't need to break into my house
I'm afraid you'd deprive her of her raison d'etre in this case 🤭

@vsv

Good point! I always fail to recall its name and often confuse it with Camino 😂

Servo — their experimental engine in Rust (which modern Firefox is partially based on) is no longer maintained by Mozilla either, but Igalia took over it and now it passes the Acid2 test: phoronix.com/news/Servo-Passin
Maybe one day it reaches the level of maturity enough for us to have browsers based on it.

@clarity
Librewolf, Waterfox, Icecat — all of these are based on FF, not sure if they are still maintained. But there is little point in it as they are basically Firefox with different defaults.
And it used to have a reusable core, but I don't think it's still maintained. Sadly, they have abandoned it and webapp/site-specific-browser mode too 😩

@vsv @shuro @metallcorn

@vsv @shuro @metallcorn
