This is probably a five year or so old tradition of state-owned outlets in Russia — to downplay disasters happening domestically and exaggerating when it happened abroad. When it's in Great Britain for example, it's fire even if that was put out in 15 minutes, but when it's in Russia it's "smoke suddenly breaking out" even if half of some village is gone with it 😅
Nothing less could be expected when it's something war-related.

I don't know why they don't utilize the same approach to stop the war, to me the whole chain of command looks so corrupt that you could buy them whole for much less than gets spent on military equipment for Ukraine 🤔

Either it's a joke or his wording is horrible — I find it hard to believe that if you ask him frankly: "Would you rather spend these five hours glued to the screens of your phones",— he would respond with: "Yeah, sure!"

Don't worry it was a humorous and a bit silly attempt to play on the word "urban".
Urban music is a rather vague term, it's not limited to hip-hop and includes other genres, what was called R&B in the 2000s among them. I think it was a misnomer though, R&B proper is e.g. Aretha Franklin and the correct term is neo soul.
So Craig David fits perfectly, he's cool! And I didn't know it was Artful Dodger who brought him to fame, but I have found out now, reading his Wikipedia page 😲
