Sometimes when this happens, and I'm not sure that I'll be able to move them to bed without waking them up, I just use the laptop connected to the TV.
Because if they wake up they will start their silly escapades and it will be impossible to get anything done at all 😹

Even worse than when I got a replacement cooler for a graphics card that looked like a perfect copy of an old one, but always kept spinning at highest RPM (they've messed up the polarity or IDK).
Anyway, gave that card to friends and they like it — can't believe, there are people who don't care about that kind of noise 😂

Same for Xiaomi phones, except they actually require you to put a SIM card in and verify the phone number by sending you a short message. That's what I did using the SIM card I don't use it with now. Made sure the countdown started and turned the damned thing off for a week — problem solved. Never used it with original firmware/ROM a minute more 🤷

@fanchig @rvps2001 They have better equipment when it comes to certain types of armaments — doesn't mean that they are better equipped overall. I think this whole counteroffensive was seriously hindered by the lack of modern fighters — Ukraine still uses mostly soviet era stuff and doesn't enjoy abundance of it. Now that transfer of F-16 is set in motion there is a serious room for improvement, but who knows how high the losses would be by the time they arrive on the battlefield.

@SuneAuken @rvps2001 Western politicians are always eager to sweep everything under the rug, I bet it'd be back to business as usual in just months if only they could arrange something even remotely resembling a ceasefire. Ukrainians did that in 2014 already, they now know the real value of these agreements.
I hope that now that everyone has seen how he had "negotiated" with Vangers, coming up with such proposals on public would just look stupid.

I probably don't — not that I particularly hate them, they are just not the kind of people I'd like to hang out with anymore. I do still exchange emails with one of my high school friends though — but we had been doing that even when we were in the same city.
We did get together a couple of times before COVID to jam. I didn't even try mixing any of that… There might be interesting stuff there, I just kinda forgot 🤔
