@neural_meduza Скажем так, если бы эта новость попалась мне в потоке других новостей, я бы не сразу обратил внимание на то, что это Нейромедуза 🫢
@fuggy I'm not even sure they were especially thorough about ways of bringing back first human astronauts. Who knows what could happen if certain conditions about how landing happens weren't required to score in the competition with the US. And there are opinions they've lied about how it in fact happened too 😅
@thor I'm not sure it grows even where I live — bananas definitely don't, but I can still buy them and they don't cost much. And this is just grains, unlike bananas it does not require refrigeration, you can store it at a warehouse for a couple of years, shouldn't be that expensive 🤷
@thor Not sure why winter is a problem. You didn't grow those potatoes yourself, did you? 😂
It's sold in packs at stores just like rice, buckwheat and other grains, maybe not in every store, but I'm sure you can find it if you look for it.
It might be a tiny bit more expensive than buckwheat, but it's way more nutritious IMO, a kilogram should be enough for almost a week.
@thor Oh, yes, it also takes a bit longer to cook, about 40 minutes. My rule of thumb is to wash it and put it in cold water with spices for a few hours before cooking, this way it takes shorter to cook, it gets softer and just tastes better.
@thor Try wild emmer if you can find it. It should be cheap, but it's very nutritious. It's also richest in proteins compared to other… let's call them cereals. Potatoes are just sugars — you do get your calories, but I have a problem feeling "full" eating only potatoes, you just get feel hungry again in an hour. Emmer might be a little hard to digest to some, but if it suits you, you're in luck — it's hands down the best side dish I could find.

Yes, I think it's new to this update and I personally like the change, in fact I often to to such lengths to make a CSS injection with uBO to make web-clients not truncate the images if they do so.
But I see why this doesn't work for some and of course I'm okay with making it optional.

Aah, yes, you're right! Don't tell me there are people who are stupid, but motivated enough to find the guy from stock photo/footage and threaten him, thinking he has something to do with how it got used… Please tell me they don't exist, please🙏

No, man, this computer shit was never about being straight:

I'm straight man myself, but it would be dishonest not to see some correlation here. And as it became more acceptable more people got open about it. Some of the guys you've enjoyed LAN-parties with might be bottle-glassed Stacies themselves by now 😂

@thor I don't mean to be rude and I'm not saying you have an actual disorder, but in the long run taking a steady pace, not exploiting these short bursts of productivity might be better. It might seem a little mundane, but you don't wear yourself (and others if it is a collective effort) out and you don't feel yourself like you can't do shit days later.
Stay cool and productive, man 👍
@thor Then you snap out of it and it gets to the direct opposite, nothing makes sense and you have miriad of reasons not to even start because you see how it's doomed to fail.
@thor No, it's not about focus and happiness only. The one that is particularly alarming to me is this approach to how to behave if something doesn't go your way, like "Well, that didn't work, let's try something else", normally one doesn't operate like that, I mean it's okay to feel a little discouraged even if that obviously wasn't your fault, but when you're in this "productive" phase you can go on and on and on without noticing obstacles.
@nikdoof The opposite approach can be harmful as well, there are a lot of insightful answers on StackOverflow, but bad ones are not uncommon. People often share half-baked solutions that worked for them without understanding underlying principles. One such case was covered on Slashdot — a certain answer about .Net or C# that worked, but caused issues later on lived there for years and even made it into commercial software, Razer Synapse if memory serves me.
