@thor A friend of mine gave me a blister of Quetiapine (I think it's just a different brand name for Seroquel) last week as a sleep aid.
And by the third night it had zero effect on me😭
No, I WAS yawning and all that, but I still couldn't sleep til like 6 AM.
Sometimes even lightweight stuff like Melatonin and 5-HTP works for me, sometimes nothing.
No, alcohol always works, but in quantities that make the next day useless 🥴So also no.

@anarchiv All the complaints I've heard so far are about poor pacing, like really long character introductions AND lots of meaningless characters at the same time. You know, like in 100 years of Solitude where the character has a name, some backstory, but appears on this page only and most likely never comes back.
Also, review censorship, rating censorship… Nothing about diversity.

@thor It's sad to realize that I'm usually the person who doesn't let others do their stuff. On my last job I've outdone myself… No, I WAS myself busy most of the time, but when I had spare time, I wasn't doing something like reading the news, I was acting like Captain Murphy from Sealab 2021 — I just walked around the office looking for someone to interact with 😅
And they had legitimate reasons to respond. And I didn't even realize that at the time! I should never act like this.
