@thor The zero self-regulatory mechanisms part is especially sad, considering how much time goes into learning all these random unrelated to each other things 😩

@coyote Nah, I was whining about how bad FF is at handling images in the clipboard in general. I'm not even sure how it handles animated PNGs — probably as bad as everything else 🤣
Easier to save it as a file and attach that. @straw

@coyote I think browser knows exactly what was copied. It has the mime type and the original data. I dunno why can't they paste precisely what was copied 🤷
I've searched FF Bugzilla and found out it was pasted as jpeg in the past, but everyone complained about the quality. They wanted to implement different compression "profiles" and a setting in about:config to control that, but then they've just made it paste everything as image/png and forgot about it. That is wrong 😞
@straw

@straw It's even worse when a 40 Kb jpeg with clearly visible compression artifacts that was re-encoded again and again for 15 times gets pasted as a 2,5 Mb png 😫

@thor Most "British" words are IMO 😅
I hate some British words like bloke, chap — but those are funny too and I use them from time to time.
I prefer British spelling of words like colour an flavour though — with "u". Just feels right that way.

@Phate6660 I think it's even hinted in the show itself, somewhere towards the finale. Only once though and not in a straightforward way. @safiuddinkhan@fosstodon.org

@colinsmatt11 Not sure about the air. Putrescine and Cadaverine which are likely present in the soil are not THAT toxic, but not good for you either.

@HSTG Well over one hundred years I think.

I'm not sure if you're serious though. It was just a play on the text in the picture, it wasn't meant to be offensive and wasn't addressed to you personally.

@thor Yeah, finding a person reading something good was like spotting a yeti. I've seen a girl reading one of Jung's works once and a girl reading Joyce's Ulysses — it was so remarkable that I still remember this. Blokes are always reading garbage for some reason — maybe reading something worthy isn't considered manly in these lands 🤣
Or, I just like girls more and pay more attention 🤔

@thor It wasn't this good even in pre-smartphone days 😢
And if you actually know what books they've been reading, you wouldn't mind them playing Zuma or something instead.

@HSTG I'm sorry, but if you were fine being butt-fucked by your government for two years, you don't mind having anal sex 🤣

@dem32@mstdn.starnix.network Too bad they've changed the name though, it would be ironic if we discussed taking part in the protest using something called Riot 🤣

@dem32@mstdn.starnix.network Wow, you actually plan stuff like this!
With WhatsApp MS did a good thing to me for once by announcing end of support for W10M, Facebook decided to end WhatsApp support even earlier, so for me it was like:
— Send me this via WhatsApp
— I can't, my phone doesn't have it
— Why don't you get a new phone?
— To send you stupid cat photos? 🤷

It was easier with Matrix: "No, I can't use Telegram, I don't want to go Lubyanka's cellar — just use this green thing instead" 😅

@safiuddinkhan@fosstodon.org I think they just had to become evil because maniacal laughter sounds cooler 😅

@dem32@mstdn.starnix.network
I've lost twice this year 😩
My former registrar had good prices, then they've suddenly charged more this year. Turns out "good prices" were a bug and I was getting discount for 3 consecutive years. The fact that they've did that without any notice pissed me off so I went to Puff Daddy.
And then they announce that Visa will stop working for cards emitted by Russian banks in a week. Had to act fast and paid for 2 years in advance.
Not Puff Daddy's fault, but I still lost.

Think of it as a game in which you jump ships every year and try not to lose your domains in the process 😆

@aruraios
> And it looks good doing that, built on top of Electron and React. It aims to be fast, private, beautiful, extensible and functional.
And this is when Midori failed as a browser, I think. Sad. I really liked it when it was WebKit-based 😩
> It aims to be fast
> built on top of Electron and React.
This sound exactly like "Claims to be Pro-Life, Dies Anyways" to me 🤣

@mhd
> Easy to slide along the very top edge of your screen.
Wow, now it actually makes sense 😮
On my workstation I have 2x30" displays, fullscreen browser window is a waste of space: all the content gets centered and the sides are empty. So it's a normal floating window, top of the window ≠ top of the screen in this case.
On my laptop I have a small screen, but sway bar is on top, so again I've got to aim to click on a tab.
It never even occured to me they had this in mind 😅
