I agree! The main point: it's hard to move away from — that is indeed so and it's very important when you're using it commercially, as for other disadvantages — they have their counterparts in other languages, the article even gives a few examples of those.
One other thing that strikes me: indeed, it has very opinionated defaults and your code is to be error-prone if you're writing it just by looking at others' code, which is important for junior devs…

I'm not such a big movie fan myself, but I have most of my favourite shows at least in digital form… When it comes to music — that I prefer to have on physical media when it's possible. I'm such not-a-fan of streaming that my phone has about 200 gigabytes of my own CD rips 😁

Yeah, true! Relying on controversy as on the sole way of promotion has certainly lost its appeal and yet… It's James Bond — even the most diehard fans are probably too old for this shit 🤭
