> the theme song was a hype vehicle
I'm not exactly new to Japanese cartoons, but I still don't get how this could be a factor of show's popularity…
Well, on the other hand, some shows produce hundreds of memes and those posting them have never seen a single episode 😅
@romin
> maybe I set the bar too high
Poor wording. I set my expectations too high — it's Masahiko Outa who set the bar high with his other shows of this type.
It's not bad, but it's pretty mid compared to e.g. Minami-ke, Mitsudomoe, YuruYuri, Love Lab, Gabbie Dropout…
@romin
Hey, I didn't even finish watching it!
(Got too drunk circa episode 7 🥴)
TBH I expected it to be way more entertaining than it turned out — maybe I set the bar too high or maybe I've been watching too many school club comedies like that and built a certain tolerance for them.
The highlight for me is the absolutely adorable main character 😍 (not the deer girl) — which is rare for a "straight" comedic character. All other characters are cute, but still rather annoying 😩

That owl has seen some shit!
@newt
No need to, I don't see the point of that either… but it probably fits nicely with other conspiracies 🤔
@newt
Hey, it's "no deez nuts november"… or something like that 🤭
@iska
You seen to start getting the whole point of Gentoo… or rather lack of it 😏
Good start! 🥂

We cannot let their attacks on our traditional buffer overflows go unpunished! 😡
@kaia
This definitely makes more sense then letting all that muscle effort and calories burned in the process disappear into nowhere 🤔
@rvps2001 They are right about that: he's erratic/unpredictable — which might be good or bad depending on the situation, but mostly bad in the long run as it makes strategic decisions problematic to carry out. And he's easily influenced — which isn't good for good-faith allies, but is a real gold mine for adversaries.

Some of the key players in Europe seem to be doing the same: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2024/nov/08/relationship-between-uk-and-ukraine-has-worsened-since-labour-won-election
Germany… well, you know Germany. France seems to be the only one showing commitment. Without these, smaller European states won't be able to do much.
Pressuring the country that was attacked to start… peace talks — how does that even make sense to them? 🤯

Just in case: DMs/PMs simply don't exist on this instance as concept — don't use them, use the other instance if you absolutely have to, or send an email to any address at m0xEE.Net or .Com or .Org, but I prefer keep most communication public.
