I think it's a good message, explaining that blocking the annoying user might be a better idea. A lot of people come to Fedi with misconceptions about moderation and start thinking that having better moderation tools is about blocking as many people as you can — they even start getting frustrated that block lists are too short, which is insane.

Ha-ha-ha, yeah, I used to find myself in a situation like this one quite often in the past — that is why I remember it by heart… well, almost, it's actually even shorter, just "--allow-downgrade", right? 😅

Admirable, maybe not in this case but sometimes you have to bring yourself down to the person's level to show them they are acting stupid, it gives them food for thought — considering you intend to keep interacting in the future.

Re-creating those workflows might become quite a refreshing experience: plugging everything you have into a hardware mixer directly and working with that — only using the computer to record Master or even using a dedicated recorder if you have one, but… Nah — definitely not my thing, I was born in the DAW era 😁

Yeah, good point! It's not an audio signal, but a control stream — cloning on demand would probably take microseconds anyway.

It's not uncommon — playing the same phrase with different instruments, but I think it would be… cynical to make those links to the same instance of the phrase 😅
I think Live makes a copy when you do this — because often you have to modify the phrase for a particular instrument anyway.

Live CAN do that — starting with 9 I think, that's when they've added the option to have two windows, I use it with two displays and sometimes it's handy, but not essential — you can do the same by dragging clips and pressing Tab to switch between Session and Arrangement views.
