@linuxenjoyer
I prefer swearing at it 🤬
At times quite audibly! 😅
But to each their own.
But now that both of my stereo amps got fried (on the same day!), I've assembled myself an audio system out of two cans of Pringles chips — which you can turn into Bluetooth speakers by attaching… well, a speaker to them — which act as tweeters and a bass combo amp acting as a subwoofer and all of this shite in ensemble is responsible for mids… I have to admit with a bit of tuning it started sounding more or less bearable, yet… it's still quite disgusting 😖
Using a dedicated large diameter speaker just for the low end is a bit novel to me: I've never owned these "surround" thingies, always preferring a decent stereo system instead. Except for when my audio equipment broke down and a colleague lend me some of his with a dedicated subwoofer — that that was long time ago and I didn't use it for long.
BTW, this is Cruzan, like the rum. He’s my youngest son’s cat. I just spent the morning re-hanging the curtains in my family room due to an unfortunate Cruzan mishap.
He remains a very good boy though.

@meduza_unshackled
Боже, и на это тоже нужно с миру по нитке собирать?!
А государство тогда вообще на что — затевать это всё, да письма рассылать? 🤦
@swaggboi
But you can get one for a year in advance and not make cron and that tiny Python script worry about its expiration every weekend 😏
@annika
Shouldn't it normally propagate the other way? 😆
@unspeaker
> on one hand who's gonna doxx me over reusing my old code, and what's the chance they're gonna do anything to me
Just make up a story how you stumbled upon that code on GH on random one day and forked it!
To keep yourself calm and as a coverup story just in case 😉
Problem solved 😎
@ironchamber
@kaia
He lied to me!!! 😡
But cheese is cheese… 😍
@dcc
Yeah, makes sense!
To me lower memory footprint seems attractive, I also have this weird feeling the erlang's beam is just buggy on PowerPC as sometimes it gets congested for no obvious reasons. As my instance is a single user one, I don't have others to worry about and it was experimental anyway, I'm thinking of giving Mitra a try.
@dcc
On a different note, ever checked out this Mitra thing?

You probably won't like the fact that it's in Rust, but I don't care. The requirements seem even more modest than that of Plemora, but it seems just as featureful.
It doesn't have a frontend…. Well, have one that requires Node which is a no go for me, but it supports MastoAPI and I would be fine using Bloat.
None
Just in case: DMs/PMs simply don't exist on this instance as concept — don't use them, use the other instance if you absolutely have to, or send an email to any address at m0xEE.Net or .Com or .Org, but I prefer keep most communication public.
