@randahl
According to their financial statements there indeed are no operations, mostly due to preferential treatment for local logistics companies, however both still exist and both had lease for their offices extended in the end of 2023.
I won't trust RBC fully, being a bussiness media, they aren't a classic propaganda outlet, but of course to a significant degree they are still state-controlled.
In any case, this looks worth looking into, more interesting than ECCO selling shoes 😅

@randahl , here is something that might be of interest to you: rbc.ru/business/03/05/2024/663
I'd translate it for you, but it's pretty long — I think automated translation of your choice would be good enough.
In short, it's about Maersk stopping liquidation of its subsidiaries in Russia and according to RBC it's per request from the parent company.
It's been operating in Russia under two LLCs: ООО «Маэрск Солюшнс» and ООО «Маэрск».

When I write software, I vendor all my dependencies.

You know, to own the libs.

No one's telling you it's false, it doesn't matter, people still don't like hearing the truth 🤷🏿

@RyanGosling
It was a reference to recreational use of Codeine-based syrups: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lean_(dr
Yours is also somewhat of this kind, but isn't Codeine-based and isn't even purple.
The rest of the reply — I suppose it just doesn't make any sense at all. Why would anyone mix a window manager into the cough syrup? 🫠

@munir @kirby
Damn, society should be eternally grateful to me for not being a genuine sociopath 🤭

@munir
Everyone absolutely loves it, at least the fruits of it. But some also like shopli… I mean fighting it and getting rewarded with free food and at times even clothes in the process.
🕙 : # FreePalestine protest
🕐 : lunch, # FreeSandwich from that vending machine on the corner
🕓 : # DefundThePolice
🕕 : # DefundThatGuy who dropped his wallet on the parking lot

See, petty crimes are no longer that bad if it's part of the greater cause 😏

@munir @kirby
It's only considered a bad thing if you aren't calling yourself the good guy, but otherwise acceptable. Let's make it something-something about fighting capitalism — people seem to love it 😈

@RyanGosling
Your photo was inviting a non-sequitur response as if it was calling me, so I have accepted the challenge.
If it wasn't according the rules of this game then I must be misreading things again 🤔

In that plastic cup, mixed into the post-soviet purple drank, which, being post-soviet, isn't even purple, but red 🤪

@redneonglow @kirby
😢😭🤯
What are you guys talking about? This is the best emoji font, I'm using it everywhere!
What are the alternatives? Apple Color Emoji is simply disgusting, Twitter ones are fine, but nothing special, EmojiOne/JoyPixels is too, but some emojis are too weird. Noto… Well, Google can't and never could into fonts and emoji one is no exception 😩

@munir @kirby
Can't you squat one of Google's?
Instead of burning it down I mean. Sounds like win-win to me 😏

@davidrevoy
Was I granted two wishes, how did I end up with two of them? I can't remember a thing! 🥴

But thats exactly what it happening on Fedi: "How dare these devs work on things that I don't use for my own very special obscure reasons" 🫠

@gemlog
Looks interesting! I also like micro: micro-editor.github.io
It's not modal so it isn't a Vim replacement, it's more like pico-nano with simple and straightforward keybindings. But it has nice things like color schemes, syntax highlighting and it can comment in/out and reindent blocks of code — quite good for lightweight modifications.
And it's a single binary — but as it's in Go, it can't be built for some architectures, this one one the other hand is in Rust — should be more portable.

I have to make a similar list of TUI software…
I've put some effort into getting my capsule running, made it accessible over IPv6 and under different domain names, and even over HTTPS with Kineto — paired with some CSS it even looks nicely.
But when it comes to content, I always run out of ideas 😂

@stereo @kelbot
Cmus is great, I have it running on a smol ARM machine plugged into the amp, external hard drive with my extensive music collection is plugged into it of course. And paired with a tiny web-interface I can control it with my phone from… the other side of town. No need to really — but from everywhere 😁

@falcennial @annika
These don't necessarily have to be extracted from the server, they can be taken from the device itself, where they are stored in the unencrypted form.
I haven't used WhatsApp in ages — since the stopped supporting Windows Phone, which was long ago, but I think there even was an option to back messages up to the likes of Google Drive, where they can later be stolen.
