Нет, вот это уже не моя история, мне у Nokia вообще ничего до Windows Phone не нравилось. Да и от Microsoft ничего до этого не было — даже Windows на домашнем компьютере. Ну может разве что во времена Windows 95.
Купил Lumia 800 можно сказать в шутку после iPhone — но в итоге мне понравилось. Всё, кроме времени автономной работы — а вот на Lumia 920 уже всё нормально было. И дальше вот эта 950 XL. Но, собственно, на Windows 10 моя любовь к MS снова иссякла 😂

Я им дома как пультом пользуюсь — через те самые самодельные веб-интерфейсы для cmus, mpv и телевизора.
Ну и Феди через Bloat читаю. И Gemini через kineto. А — ну и RSS, старое приложение Newsflow работает!

Так что телефон проживает вторую жизнь, можно сказать. У меня на нём и настольная Windows 11 была — интересно, и почти всё работает, но практической пользы мало, батарея достаточно быстро садится.

На том телефоне, с которым я по улице хожу, у меня с самого начала использования стоит 130% для всего — в системе. Хочу, чтобы там реально конский шрифт был — чтобы с расстояния вытянутой руки было всё видно.
Что не мешает мне дома на другом телефоне, у которого выше разрешение, а экран — меньше, читать Феди шрифтом вот такого размера.

Дело тут не в зрении, а в конкретных сценариях использования. И настраивать надо так, чтобы удобно было — без оглядки на «У меня же зрение хорошее!»

I think it's a really bad idea to use Git to learn how VCS works — it might be versatile and very flexible when working on a complex project with a lot of branches, but it's really complicated under the hood.
And if you attempt to simplify that to the usual "pull, edit, commit, format-patch, send-email" the person might get wrong ideas about how it works and it will come back to haunt him/her later.
It's best to learn how VCS works in general on something like SVN and then learn Git.

Another nice utility of this kind: https://github.com/rvaiya/keyd
I'm using it to remap "k" and "l" keys which no longer work to the ones I didn't use — plenty of these on this old MacBook Pro.
It relies on low-level kernel stuff so it's limited to linux only, but it's not limited to graphical sessions and remapped keys work in the console too.
I'm not sure how it would work with the modifier keys as I have never done that myself, but shouldn't be an issue.

I won't count on it to stop the war — I think it will happen sooner or later and it would be a collapse indeed, I also think it would be triggered by a seemingly insignificant event.
So Ukraine's allies still have to step up and make sure Ukraine holds and can defend itself until that happens.

There used to be a popular message reader/editor for the FidoNet with the same name: https://golded-plus.sourceforge.net/
It was long ago when FidoNet was still alive — now even finding a screenshot of it is no small feat 😅
But I knew that there exists a different GoldEd, that is why I had my doubts.

Turns out, old builds are getting preserved in the F-Droid Archive repo. I've always thought that Archive repo is for software that was removed due to not being updated anymore, but TIL it's not for that only.
I have enabled it: https://f-droid.org/archive/
And now I see them all in my F-droid manager, including really old ones. I use an alternative one — Neo Store, I like its UI more and I didn't even have to add that repo, it comes preloaded with them, I only had to flip a switch 😁
