Damn, my instance is overtaxed, I didn't even see your reply 😱
I mean I had to go to your instance to read it 😅

Not that there is any need to optimize shell shit, but in case you're ever going to reuse that, you can drop the tr — xargs will swallow all the extraneous whitespace anyway, including the newlines.
And even using awk is overkill in this case, unless it's a nod to Pete😏
There is a dumber, but still capable tool for that: cut
Use "cut -f1 -d' '" to filter out all but the first word before space on each line.

Wow, it never occurred to me that he could be a cat person. I'm a fan of both — Zappa's music and cats I mean 😹
Thanks for enlightening me!

Ну как это зачем? Это же тот самый «гибрид бульдога с носорогом» — вопрос, бередящий умы учёных вот уже которое десятилетие 😆

🇷🇺 🇺🇦 Analysts from the Bot Blocker project have uncovered a surge in bot activity spreading images with fake quotes from celebrities calling on Western countries to stop supporting Ukraine.
@rvps2001
Beyonce having an opinion on gas pipelines in Europe is absolutely priceless!😆
But the fact that some people trust even stuff like that without doing the most obvious fact checking, like looking up the quote and the name of whom it's being attributed to, is troubling.
I do it all the time — and when only some shady blogs comes up, I don't trust it — I find it hard to believe that some celebrity could make an opinionated statement and it didn't make it into any mainstream media at all.
@lrhodes
Maybe they are attempting to appeal to the younger demographics by using the word "based" more, like:
— You know… plants! 🌱
— BASED! 🤩
