Mostly DDG. Trying to rely on Mojeek more, but it's not on par yet.

@iska She was 39: ria.ru/20230729/blogersha-1887
She didn't look particularly bad for her age. I think she had an outstandingly good health if her organism could tolerate that torture for so many years.
@mushroom_soup

@thatguyoverthere They did work for me on mac about three years ago or so — there should be nothing Windows-specific in there. I don't believe much changed since then, they probably even improved Chromium compatibility as WebView2 they use nowadays is basically it.
But like you said, in worst case you can just go with a VM. Windows installer doesn't even ask for serial number these days, it just doesn't let you change the wallpaper until activated 😄

@aral
I didn't even know that! I've always thought you could set method to anything, not just GET and POST 🤣

@vriska Oh, someone comes up with even more cursed combinations than I do, I see… 😏
But you know what's truly scary? We just come up with what we want to combine… There is someone out there who actually drew these for EmojiKitchen 🙀

@rvps2001 One of "UN concerned" things, but probably a VERY good move this time as it shifts the accents and the message now is not "We know people are going to starve, but we still find conditions unacceptable", but "Russia finds making people starve acceptable, that tactic is borderline terrorism".
"We do not negotiate with terrorists" — were the words that have won Putin a lot of popular support at the dawn of his career: english.pravda.ru/russia/4782-

In a couple of months I asked him about friend from China: "He's no longer responding to my emails, that's odd" 😂

@thatguyoverthere @amerika

— Oh, come on, it that Swine Flu shit again!
— No, it's hardly "swine flu shit", this looks serious — the whole city was isolated
— I have a friend in China, he told me everything's fine
After the holidays I did this and that, went to the cinema to see all the movies I had been planning to see — I knew, they would be locked down, spent like whole day at the cinema — it was matinee, so dirt cheap. And then, a few weeks later, all hell broke loose!

Same, I've had a very bad feeling about it. I remember, it was a week before the New Year and a friend of mine asks me if he could borrow a mic and a keyboard stand, my ex had been using them so I go to her to fetch the gear, we spend the evening talking about that, I tell her that this is going to be big, she doesn't believe me of course, then I go to the friend's place and we sit in the kitchen drinking tea, I've been telling him about the virus too and he was:

@HumongusChungus
Yeah, I've been discussing this particular case with a friend just yesterday. The girl's Welsh what does she have to do with Black people? It was perfectly fine for her to not take the knee and yet, the victim kept confronting her first on social media and then in person. The court cleared her of racism charges in the end:

I have to admit, I must've overestimated COVID, but only because a lot of people around me kept underestimating it, they took more relaxed stance using every opportunity — they just wanted it to be over really bad.
And that is my weakness: I always asses poorly how people take information, you thing that something is going to be a game changer, but most people — they are like that tilt-doll, they return to their old ways almost immediately 🤷

We are truly living in the era of post-truth: facts are nothing if they don't fit the political agenda, if there are no facts to reinforce your point of view — you are free to cherry pick them or even outright make them up.
Rule of thumb here is to not trust something only because it aligns well with your worldview, question even that, and if it doesn't — integrate it into your worldview by expanding it, do not try to dismiss it.

Same here, I can look into the phone when walking If I want to pick a different album to listen to and I still pay attention to my surroundings, I never do it on the crossing. And I'm never texting!
Look at this:

Moving at over 110 Mph! What could possibly be so urgent in that bloody thing? 🤬
I've always been laughing when others were calling it a disorder, but I'm no longer so sure, maybe it is some kind of addiction.
