@Graycot
🚄 Post photos of your vintage Thinkpads.

@splitshockvirus Or! You can finally open 10 tabs in Google Chrome. Maybe even 12 😂
@SuperSnekFriend

@lina TBH I only have vague recollection of what Minami-ke was about — not that it's important when it comes to slices of life, but I also have zero recollection of Kill-la-Kill, despite the fact that I've been watching it when it was airing. I do remember the cast, but not even the major plot turns: I remember it was about uniforms, I remember them being on a huge ship before the final battle — or did that come from Evangelion remake?🤔
Have to rewatch probably😅

Makes them cheaper to rebuild once the tornado is gone 😂

Боюсь, что это были не люди в таком случае 🧌

@annika Took me a while to get the joke. At first thought it had something to do with treating hangover — but it's paracetamol that you should avoid. Ibuprofen is fine.
I remember it well because I had taken paracetamol myself to treat alcohol induced headache once — despite instructing other person on Fedi just a day before to avoid it and use aspirin instead. I've had both, but I still took paracetamol by mistake — I was so frustrated that I had started swearing too 😂

@thor Yeah, bad timings sure happen, like Donnie Darko having no advertisement because original idea featured a crashing plane, but 9/11 happened or the final 2 episodes Madoka about catastrophic events being postponed because of the earthquake in Japan. One of the cell carriers in Russia had subscriber plans featuring letter "Z", but in 2022 it became VERY controversial all of a sudden, I think Samsung had problems with marketing Galaxy Z products too before they decided to pull out completely😅

1? 🤔
It's probably a pig and it's infected 🐷 😱

@neural_meduza А других в Москве возможно уже и не осталось 😱

@damianogerli No ads part aged extraordinarily badly 🤣

@ochaos Last year I had found an "AJAX" book from mid 2000s — about early interactive stuff that we hate the Web of today for, Google Suggest and all that, from the days when JS was very limited and you had to use hidden frames to retrieve and process data… I can't cite anything because I have already put it back to where it came from, but it was a hilarious read 😂
@damianogerli

@mcrocker It's better than Tineye for image searches at times — probably the only thing Google is good for nowadays 🤷
@damianogerli

@Rezard Don't even try Fast Courier Transform 😅

@w I have recently found an old Sony-Ericsson GPRS/EDGE PCMCIA modem in the storage room, I have an old laptop with PCMCIA slot and a SIM card with unlimited, albeit slow, data plan. Would be nice to get it working, but I'm not even sure it would be possible as some carriers don't support 2G at all nowadays — I know for a fact that you can put your SIM-card in old phone and quite literally get no service. Some carriers here still do and I hope mine would work 😁
@BasicAppleGuy

@w Exactly! Even flagship phones of today are limited to 1 Tb storage so where do we put all the data? The only usage scenario I can think of is this VR stuff — so you can receive a lot of data, process it and immediately discard it. Because even with videos 6" screens make higher resolutions kinda pointless, but with VR goggles — who knows.
