Если электричество есть, без отопления и горячей воды в такую погоду уже прожить можно. Я как раз в начале мая в ковидный год уехал в таких условиях жить за город: было электричество и проточная холодная вода, которые правда иногда отключали дня на три 😩

@mo
Конечно можно! А вот летать их самолётами уже довольно опасно 😅

Medvedev tasked the head of Central Election Commitee with creating a system of sub-support of cyberpunk paedophiles 🤪

@sneak It is! In fact I have always considered Artifakts such an album, but Hawtin said in some interview that he originally had something even bigger in mind, an album called Klinik or something like that. It does sometimes happen when you work on a concept album, but your mind wanders off, gets engaged by something different and you can't get back into the original mood to fill the gaps. Good that he released it as Artifakts, one of my favorite electronic albums of all time!

Oh, I get it! So if I'd like to reply and still wish to stay in the context, I have to act swiftly 😁
Doesn't work for me. I feel like that Dr Manhattan from the Watchmen — all of events in the timeline are happening to me simultaneously: sometimes I wake up and feel in the mood to respond to some comment that was posted a couple of weeks ago, I kept thinking about it, but just couldn't come up with anything meaningful/substantial.

@DotardTed
I'd like to add that it's not about something that makes US being good, it's about people in the US, who hold their government accountable. You did it, and you should keep it that way. We in Russia have failed at it and we just reap what we have sown, but the fact that others have to pay for it too makes me really sad. I know, US citizens feel guilty too for a lot of shit, but me — some of this stuff is happening right now 😭
@radix023 @Rdwicker

@DotardTed
That is the point! US gov't is more accountable than say Russia, China and Iran. Of course a lot of decisions are made behind closed doors, but less than in above mentioned states. That is what makes me trust it more, others — they can get away with literally anything.
This: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1953_Ira
is out in the open. Do such documents exist when it comes to Russia/USSR? I don't think so, only indirect proof.
@radix023 @Rdwicker

@neural_meduza Незавидная судьба. Расстреляют ведь!

@radix023
Same here, mainstream social media got us used to putting words in other person's mouth, making us think of things they have never claimed, so we sometimes bring it even here, where people are more open to dialogue even if you don't agree on some fundamental points. I get caught up in this too and I don't like it, but that's the way they made our minds work.
@DotardTed @Rdwicker

@radix023
My bad. You are right, of course US tries to maintain some influence in Georgia (and in every other country in the world). But overthrowing government — that's a huge stretch.
Sorry, I'm Russian so I'm all into this. I appreciate people being critical of US, but you do tend to exaggerate 😅
@DotardTed @Rdwicker

@radix023
Yes, and?
Man, no one in US wants Russia to collapse, I think they are terrified of it as it would create the largest humanitarian crisis in modern history.
US is guilty in a lot of shit, but not this, they have financial means to put Russia on the brink of existence within a couple of months, they just don't do it. They probably want Putin replaced by someone who's less nuts, but not an inch more. No one in the western political establishment wants 🇷🇺 to collapse.
@DotardTed @Rdwicker

@DotardTed
Their current government (pretty 🇷🇺 friendly BTW) tried to pass a legislation that people just HATED so they took the streets to protest. I think that is what he's talking about.
Total bullshit of course, 🇺🇸 could have government that is US-friendly years ago and didn't do shit. And EU even justified Russia's aggression in 2008.
US having money in Georgia's game is 100% pure unadulterated conspiracy.
@radix023 @Rdwicker

@dym Yeah, that could work!
But with privacy!
Wait… How? 🤪

@vriska

Welcome to Russia! Welcome to the Future!
> I'm president
Ah, that might be tricky… 🥺

@DotardTed
Just when I was typing this, there were "breaking news" on 🇷🇺 TV about how the info was carefully planted by Russia — I'm not sure what they were referring to, the original info or the poor PS'd pages. Some gut feeling hints at the latter😅
Unlike everyone else, KGB always tries to misinfo the ones who are inside, not the ones abroad. They might have used it to cause distrust between 🇺🇸 and 🇺🇦, but it looks too well carried out for me to believe 😏
@vandys

@DotardTed
Sure, that would be the most obvious and most effective thing to do… and 🇷🇺 have been preparing for exactly that (although I'm not sure what they have been preparing to with those trenches in Crimea, Normandy-like coastline breach?🤨), but now that the "leak" is out — central command has no idea of what's going to happen ("Win-win-win, don't lose") and 🇷🇺 poor communication, field commanders might be even more at loss about what's going to happen.
@vandys

@kaia The only reason I use Thunderbird on my laptops is that ssh connection to host running mutt is severed every time the computer goes offline. Thunderbird caches stuff so I have some access to my e-mails offline. Maybe I should just set up a two-way sync of the e-mail directory with the host that has all my mail, run mutt locally and get rid of TB — it just causes excess disk IO and, if you mod it with userChrome.css to not look like shit, it gets slow and becomes total garbage to use 😩

@neural_meduza И стал Банкетным? Не лучшая стратегия, редко помогает на суде. Ну, хоть что-то…
