@whiteline Yeah, I've checked it out. Looks like 10.6 is the earliest version of Mac OS X supported so it won't work on PPC. Now that I think of it, the video card in that G5 might me not up to the task VRAM-wise to handle the HD textures anyway.
I think it'd be still nice to try playing this game on a big TV I have hooked to this G5. Such a blast from the past! 😊

@thor I used to cook strong pu'er tea with mint and tangerine skin until my French press broke, then I'd add a couple of slices of ginger to the cup and a little stevia to make it sweeter, it was so good! 😋
I'm going to get a new French press next week as I got a good discount, and revive this little tradition of mine!

@dj I'm not brave enough to use JBOD! I have a mirrored RAID array on my workstation and the hard drives failed twice over a course of five years — like completely fried, no data salvageable, I'd just lose it if there was no mirror 😨

Yes, this is exactly what I wanted! I was browsing through apulse's sources, but I couldn't find it myself 🤭

@mikuphile Oh, I see! I think you've misunderstood me then. ALSA itself works perfectly for me — there is no latency issue. Firefox devs are assholes though and don't want have proper support for ALSA. When I use FF with ALSA directly there is no lag, but there's no input from the mic. I have to use this wrapper — apulse, so FF thinks I'm using Pulse, but it introduces a noticeable lag. It's no biggie, but if there is a fix for that it would be great.I thought this is what you were talking about

It did have a unique style! I still have this game for Mac on a DVD (or even CD?) somewhere. And I have my PowerMac G5, I wonder if HD edition supports PowerPC though? 🤔
