This pumpkin is awesome! I didn't even have to scrub the insides, it just peeled off like it's an orange. This is the first time I see something like this. And it smells wonderful! ๐
@mrissi_neko Wow, sounds interesting! I like the fruity aroma of freshly diced pumpkin, I should definitely taste it. Unfortunately I don't think it's sold in my parts, it's maybe added in pureed form to multifruit drinks, but I've never seen it being used as a sole ingredient. And I can't even imagine how many pumpkins it would take me to make a glass of it myself ๐
@m0xee Oh I love pumpkin in many forms :) And bulgur wheat makes great pasta replacement for soups.
@mrissi_neko Right? That's what I often use instead of small pasta in traditional Italian soups. No one ever complained about the taste, but some of my friends think that the whole idea is a bit weird. At least now I know I'm not alone ๐
@m0xee Definitely not :)
@mrissi_neko Pumpkin isn't really a go-to ingredient here, I don't know many people who use if for anything other than gruel. Seeds are a popular snack though, slightly less so than the sunflower ones, but popular nonetheless.
Me? I absolutely love it! In fact, I'm making a very similar soup with pumpkin, carrots, beans and bulgur right now ๐
