Every day is Halloween in Russia: children beg for food and unholy creatures roam the streets dressed as humans (or should it be the other way around? ๐Ÿค”)
It's too late anyway, so this thing is going to become soup!

This pumpkin is awesome! I didn't even have to scrub the insides, it just peeled off like it's an orange. This is the first time I see something like this. And it smells wonderful! ๐Ÿ˜‹

@m0xee have you tried pumpkin juice? It tastes similar to peach and carrot mix :)

@mrissi_neko Wow, sounds interesting! I like the fruity aroma of freshly diced pumpkin, I should definitely taste it. Unfortunately I don't think it's sold in my parts, it's maybe added in pureed form to multifruit drinks, but I've never seen it being used as a sole ingredient. And I can't even imagine how many pumpkins it would take me to make a glass of it myself ๐Ÿ˜…

@mrissi_neko Pumpkin isn't really a go-to ingredient here, I don't know many people who use if for anything other than gruel. Seeds are a popular snack though, slightly less so than the sunflower ones, but popular nonetheless.
Me? I absolutely love it! In fact, I'm making a very similar soup with pumpkin, carrots, beans and bulgur right now ๐Ÿ˜‹

@m0xee Oh I love pumpkin in many forms :) And bulgur wheat makes great pasta replacement for soups.

@mrissi_neko Right? That's what I often use instead of small pasta in traditional Italian soups. No one ever complained about the taste, but some of my friends think that the whole idea is a bit weird. At least now I know I'm not alone ๐Ÿ˜Š
