I have a #chip which doesn't exist on the internet.

Can the Fediverse help me find a #datasheet ?

It's marked as AM330, from the Chinese company Amicro Semiconductor. The website has no info, but it seems to be a #microcontroller for navigation.

Makes sense, I found it inside a #robot #vacuum, OEM model KK320.

I'd like to reprogram the robot, but I need to know at least the pinout. Help, Fedi!

I try to avoid using hosted on . It's hard to believe those projects are really serious about FOSS.

If we really wanted to change the world, we'd make politicians' internet search histories public record

Seeing multiple articles about Amazon/Ring having decided, all on their own, out of the goodness of their corporate hearts, to stop handing video footage over to cops without a warrant, and zero of these articles have reported on what impending legal, PR or regulatory shitshow is barreling toward them to inspire this sudden change of heart.

Poll reveals 90% of citizens would vote for their pet over current political candidates. The remaining 10% don't have pets.

Texas Governor Abbott signals that he may (will?) defy the Supreme Court order regarding the border.

In 1830, Andrew Jackson, as president, refused to heed a Supreme Court order regarding the removal of Native Americans from Georgia.

Jackson's refusal gave us the Trail of Tears.

Jackson remained popular.

The similarity: Both defiances are deeply racist.

The difference: In 1830 only white men could vote.

Pay attention to what's happening in this case: the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals just essentially ruled that it's fully legal to jail journalists for reporting leaked information, or any information they obtain from government officials without going through "proper channels."

This is a serious issue for #journalism in #Texas, #Louisiana and #Mississppi and we should hope the Supreme Court sets things right quickly. texasobserver.org/priscilla-vi via @TexasObserver

How does white supremacy continue to shape US and global society, and how can we fight for humanity against the racial order?

Update on this: I'm leaning toward using LaTeX for everything and possibly exporting tutorials to html using pandoc or similar.

I've been re-doing one of my slide presentations in Beamer, and it's such a load off my shoulders feeling like I can just trust the presentation to scale text and so on reliably.

Animation is also a lot more intuitive for me in Beamer than in Powerpoint/LibreOffice.

Exercise is too time consuming. I hate that it improves my mood while robbing me of time to get mad online.

Purism and Orpheum Films are pleased to announce their collaboration on the upcoming feature film ‘Legionario‘ in development.

Maybe M$ is just going through the motions to get public money through the "loan application program" since the SMRs MMRs probably won't be built.^1 An earlier article on the DOE and Bill Gates says that their "Natrium Fast Reactor" is much like a "Prism Fast Breeder" reactor for producing plutonium.^2 Maybe MegaCorporations want their own bombs now too, after rockets and satellites...

medium.com/prismnpen/twelve-ye It really sucks that people like the folks running the Platte County School District have values that are so horribly malevolent, simple, and insecure. The world needs people who are better than this - strong people, more like Oliver, in fact. We need people with these oppressive values to fear the full shame of being exposed to the global society.

"As you know, running a successful business like eBay requires making very difficult decisions, like cutting costs instead of my eight-figure salary. Therefore, we have decided to axe a bunch of jobs to boost our profits. It's nothing personal, we just value shareholders more than employees."
