Up until this week @paulbiggar was on the board at a fairly substantial tech company that he co-founded. If you work in tech, you’ve probably heard of it; if you don’t, you probably haven’t. But then he wrote a blog post.

He’s no longer a director of that company. The CEO, Jim Rose, has clarified that Paul does not speak for them and that CircleCI “is committed to our customers in Israel and around the world.”

#Debian provides documentation packages for many libraries, languages and tools. Why I like it so much?
- No matter how good your uplink is, localhost is faster
- Sometimes connectivity is poor or absent (on planes, country-side etc)
- Grep is faster that any search engine
- You can save on battery and metered SIM data
- Debian removes privacy-breaching images, javascript, cookies, ads
- Installed documentation is always at the same version as the language/tool/library

Remember when we let one far-right dude make up the whole critical race theory panic, and then reactionaries passed "anti-CRT" laws that were really anti-diversity laws, so that teachers were afraid to even teach about civil rights and the Holocaust, and then US students' knowledge of the Holocaust dropped precipitously? And it dropped the most where those anti-CRT laws were passed?

Well, what if we let *the same dude* make up a whole plagiarism inquisition against the Harvard president?

The dominant Europe-centred paradigm in #CooperativeEconomics means the field is working with an incomplete, therefore inadequate, record of the rich diversity of ways people have understood and practised cooperation as an economic strategy. For instance, the #AfricanPhilosophy of #Ubuntu imparts a model in which cooperation is a perpetually sought ideal state and seeking it creates cooperative economic relations.
