Those of us born in the ‘60s have witnessed this Tory broken record repeat itself with devastating regularity over the years.
Trickle down just doesn’t work. Never has, never will — all it does is devastate industry and wreck communities:

Realization: the main utility of blockchain tech is that it presents an irrefutable argument for a wealth tax. If there’s enough bored money rattling around out there to fund obviously negative-sum nonsense like this, we can as a society choose to spend that money on public education, health care and clean running water instead.

In case it wasn’t clear Conservatives don’t give a flying fuck about ordinary people (see energy bill scam) Kwasi Kwarteng decides now is the perfect time to rub all our noses in their shit:
This makes me very angry: https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/national/474816/potentially-a-billion-dollars-to-clean-up-tiwai-point another example foreign corporations running roughshod over foreign lands and regulation and not taking responsibility for the horrible mess they've created.

TechRights is reporting that Mozilla is hiring managers from the CIA. Firefox is looking sketchier. I think I'll move toward Gnu IceCat more. TechRights was stating they moved to LibreWolf, which I haven't tried. I also use Gnome Web some. Once I get rid of my Android phone, when my Librem 5 arrives, I'll probably settle into one main browser. Of course outside factors will impose their own requirements. e.g., financial and medical software needs.
