Every co-op conference & webinar I've ever attended with simultaneous translation includes a plea from the translator to the (English) speakers to please slow down to provide adequate time for the translation. And every f'n time the English speakers say "Ok" and then proceed to speak at their normal rate. It drives me up the wall. I find I can't pay attention to what's being said because I'm internally screaming "Slow down! Aaaargh!" 🤬
